Our children have come back to school after two long years. Joy and hope is in the air. The school premise was buzzing with preparations to welcome our children back to school. The bare walls have come alive again with the ‘Welcome Back’ messages for our children, the deafening silence of the vacant building has been broken by the excited voices of the teachers, for their children have joined them.
We had been at the School Gate to welcome our children. We are thrilled to listen to the ‘noise’ that we missed so much in the virtual school. We tried making the day special for them, by conducting fun activities in school. Our focus in the next few days will be to make our children comfortable in school, hence the daily plan will be kept less extensive. Once they seem settled, we will again shift our focus to extensive teaching.
